Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources Career Cluster

Plants And Flowers

This one-semester course will explore the world of plants. Students will learn basic plant biology to discover how a plant functions. Labs will include learning about vegetables, plant identification (annual, perennial and biennial), as well as designing and creating a flower and vegetable garden. Students will have an opportunity to grow their own houseplants.
 
   
For students in grades: 9-10
Credits: 1/2 Credit
Scheduling: One Semester, 50 minutes
