Business Classes

Business Management

The Business Management Program is great for students wanting to start their own business. You will learn many aspects of running a business. Real life scenarios are brought into the classroom like guest speakers and field trips. Students write a full business plan and work with real commercial lenders. You will also be eligible to join FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) and participate in the FBLA activities.
 
   
For students in grades: 11-12
Credits: A maximum of 3 credits per year
Graduation Requirement: Math and Technology- A student who successfully completes this two-year program will be able to earn two credits in math towards graduation, (one credit per year). MAUHS students can earn the required 0.5 Technology credit by completing the first year of this program
Suggested Preparation: Business Basics, Computer Applications or Microsoft Office
Post High School Education: Business graduates have enrolled in Castleton, Johnson & Wales, Southern Vermont College, Community College of Vermont, Culinary Institute of America, Nichols College, Bryant Univ., College of St. Rose, Univ. Vermont, St. Michaels College, Western New England, SUNY Binghamton.
