Architecture & Construction
|
Architecture and Construction prepares students for careers in designing, planning, managing, building and maintaining buildings and the constructed environment. This course will center around construction of residential houses. Students will learn the care and safe use of both hand and power tools. Students will assemble complete electrical circuits like those found in most homes. Each student will choose a final project. They will first make a scale drawing (blueprint) of it and then build it out of wood.
