Business Classes
Accounting & Finance |
This two-year program introduces basic accounting concepts and the components of a computerized accounting system. Topics include the principles of both manual and computerized accounting systems. Extensive lab time is provided for computer applications and problem solving. This is an excellent program for anyone entering the business field thinking of starting their own business, or continuing education in business, accounting or finance.
One Semester Option
This program is also available as a one semester, 90 minute option. Accounting 1a may be taken either semester. Students who successfully complete 1a may enroll in Accounting 1b for a subsequent semester Students choosing this option will still be eligible for one credit in math per semester.

Graduation Requirement: |
Math and Technology- A student who successfully completes the first year of this program can earn up to two credits in math towards graduation (one credit per semester). A student who successfully completes the second year of this program may receive one additional credit in math towards graduation. MAUHS students can earn the required 0.5 Technology credit by completing the first year of this program |

Post High School Education: |
Business graduates have enrolled in Castleton, Johnson & Wales, Southern Vermont College, CCV, Culinary Institute of America, Nichols College, Bryant Univ., College of St. Rose, Univ. Vermont, St. Michaels College, Western New England, SUNY Binghamton. |
