CULINARY ARTS INSTRUCTOR:

Job Description We seek a Culinary Arts Instructor to work with students in grades 9 through 12. This instructor works to plan, implement and assess innovative, current industry-validated curriculum that prepares students for careers in Culinary Arts and related fields. Responsibilities include:
  • Creating additional curricula related to advanced courses and experiences, such as work-based learning, internships and cooperative educational experiences
  • Leading students to become ServSafe-certified at a 90% or higher rate
  • Organizing and facilitating a craft-advisory committee that meets at least two times per year
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Education or related field
  • 5 years of work experience in Culinary Arts preferred
  • Vemont Vocational Instructor Certification by the Bureau of Teacher Certification
  • ServSafe Certification
  • Teaching experience working in a Career Pathways system using integrated instructional approaches is a plus
