Fast Forward Program..

FAST FORWARD, is a collaborative and cooperative program between the Community College of Vermont and Vermont Technical College and the Technical Centers of Vermont. The Southwest Vermont Career Development Center is offering the FAST FORWARD opportunity for its students to experience college level work and earn college credits.

Tech center teachers are required to hold degrees and certifications that allow them to become adjunct faculty members of the college the course(s) they are offering. They must follow the curriculum and instructional requirements of that college. The students must do college level assignments, pass the college course’s final exam and earn a minimum score or grade to receive the college credit.

Students apply for enrollment at the college that sponsors the course(s) they want to take and take assessments. Vermont residents can apply for a FAST FORWARD TICKET which will cover the $100 program registration fee. The student can then receive a transcript from the college (CCV, VTC) with the college course(s), grade(s), and credit(s) listed the same way as they would be if the student had taken the course at the college.
