Regional Governing Board Meeting Minutes: January 16, 2007

Location:	Assembly Room, Career Development Center
Members Present:	Claude DeLucia; Fran Kinney; Bob Kobelia: Frank Lamb, Chair; Ed Letourneau; Jon Peaslee; Rob Sperber.
Staff Present:	Bruce Lee-Clark (left at 5:05); Bob Montgomery, Asst. Director; Donna Oyama, Director; Sandra Redding, Office Manager (left at 5:05).
Recorder:	Barb Schlesinger

Lamb called the meeting to order at 5:00pm, noting the agenda required two items: the Approval of the NEASC Report and an Executive Session regarding a personnel issue.


NEASC Report:


Peaslee moved and Kinney seconded a motion to accept the NEASC Report as amended. The motion passed unanimously.


Discussion
Lee-Clark noted that discussion should concern substantive changes and comments only, not typos. There were no questions.


Executive Session:

The Board went into executive session at 5:05pm.

The Board reconvened at 5:47pm

The Board voted to table the discussion until they receive further information. The Board also asked that the Union extend the time for response until the Board can get the rest of the information needed to make a decision. Peaslee noted the Board also needs to see the grievance and further info.


Sperber moved and Kinney seconded a motion to table the discussion until they received further information. The motion passed unanimously.


Other:

At 5:52 Kinney moved and Kobelia seconded a motion to adjourn and the motion passed unanimously.
