Annual School District Floor Meeting Minutes: March 5, 2007

Black called the meeting to order at 5:00pm and then read aloud the Warning of the Annual Meeting.


Article 1: To establish the annual salaries of the District Directors at $700 each.

Burfeind moved and Corcoran seconded a motion to establish the annual salaries of the District Directors at $700 each. The motion passed unanimously and without discussion.

Article 2: To authorize the School District Board to borrow money in anticipation of revenues to meet current operating expenses of the District.

Burfeind moved and Corcoran seconded a motion to authorize the School District Board to borrow money in anticipation of revenues to meet current operating expenses of the District. The motion passed unanimously and without discussion.


Article 3: To hold a public informational hearing on articles to be voted upon by Australian Ballot on March 6, 2007.


Black called for comment(s) on the following Articles:


Article A – To elect a Moderator for a term of three (3) years beginning April 1, 2007

Article B – To elect a Clerk for a term of three (3) years beginning April 1, 2007

Article C – To elect a Treasurer for a term of three (3) years beginning April 1, 2007

Article D – Shall the voters of the Service Region of Southwestern Vermont Regional Technical School District appropriate $3,145,142 as necessary for the support of its school for the year beginning July 1, 2007?


Hearing no comments or discussion, Black moved to Article 4:


Article 4: To transact any other business found proper when met.


Hearing no other business, at 5:05pm Burfeind moved and Corcoran seconded a motion to adjourn and the motion passed unanimously.
